About Me

My name is Isaiah McKay, a Minneapolis native and founder of EMERALDS BRAND since 2018. I use clothing as a canvas to alleviate judgments, help us to be more alike than different thus symbolizing our shared humanity. I’m also passionate about writing literature which inspires me to create GEMS — an annual event featuring limited pieces designed to safeguard the earth with the intent to be minimal and create a world of need instead of want.

Do I look to change the world? my answer is no. I look to change my world. By focusing on our scale we can attribute to the changes we've always wish the world would adopt.
